It's hard to know what to say about the Beatles' self titled "White Album". So I won't say much. Go find a book if you want to know all about its societal impacts or deeper meanings or musical techniques. There's plenty of information out there for the curious. What we're interested in here is playing it very, very slow. So that's what I did.
The White Album, all 4 sides, at 16rpm
A note on sound quality: I bought my well used copy of this album for $4, so there's some issues. I make a point to not touch-up recordings on this blog, so you sometimes get hisses, pops, clicks, maybe even a skip or two. Sometimes you get a lot of those things (though if an album were skipping too badly I'd abandon it for this project). What I'm saying is appreciate it for what it is, and go do it yourself if these things bother you too much.
